Happy Friday everyone! I'm back with the second In a Creative Bubble release for July. This time around, there are four new journaling card sets and three coordinating digital stamp sets. Check them all out over here.
Bibliophile Journaling Cards
I'm starting off with my favorite set this month, this book-themed card set! I've designed reading/book themed cards before (Reading Log and Bookworm are still available in the store), but this new set is a better reflection of my current design style - cute illustrations, clean graphics, and a little bit of hand lettering :)

Day by Day Journaling Cards
I envisioned these cards to be a fun set to use when documenting your everyday life or when working on a project like Week in the Life or Day in the Life (à la Ali Edwards). I really wanted to play with type and find ways to make the letters/design interesting and unique. The 'weekend' card and the 'happy little moments' card are my favorites from this set!

Theme Park Journaling Cards
I may not be the biggest thrill seeker (roller coasters kind of terrify me), but I do enjoy a good ride! Though I named this set 'theme park', I think these would work well for any sort of amusement park or county fair. I plan on using them for my last trip to Universal Studios :)

Recorded Journaling Cards No.6
It's been a while since I made a new set of cards for my Recorded series, but here they are! While these cards may be a tad different from the previous sets in the series (no black border around each card being the main difference), I stuck with the black and white color scheme and the everyday theme. New, versatile b&w cards are always a winner in my book. Hope you like them as much as I do!
That's it for this month's updates. Just another reminder that the Last Chance products will be retired at the end of August and I update frequently on Instagram! Hope you all have a great weekend :) xo.

It may have taken me halfway into 2017 to actually complete the previous year's Project Life album, but I'm celebrating the fact that it's 100% finished and sitting on my bookshelf with my other albums!
Since I had one spot left at the back of my book for a final 12x12 spread, I decided to do a quick year in review page using my In Review cards. Here's a look at the entire page:
I managed to include lots of photos from throughout the year but still keep the page looking simple and clean by using the black and white cards. Some details to note:
- I chose one photo of myself and printed it at 3x4, then added '2016' using white chipboard Thickers.
- For the other photos, I used Photoshop to combine four mini photos on a 3x4 canvas. They include a mishmash of photos taken throughout the year.
- I alternated my photos with the b&w cards so that the design of the page would be cohesive and clean. I really like how that turned out.
- As mentioned, the cards are from this set in my shop. I normally handwrite my journaling, but this time, I decided to type on the cards before printing them. I used Remington Noiseless at 8pt.
- I added some minimal embellishing to complete the spread. There are a few word phrases and chipboard stickers from past Studio Calico kits. I also stamped Christine Herrin's stamps on a few of the cards with Color Theory gray area ink.
And that's a wrap! Right now, I'm taking a break from PL to focus my crafting time on my growing list of mini albums I want to make. What are you working on? :)

Hello, hello! I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far. Today, I'm sharing the newest release that's now available at In a Creative Bubble. There are five new sets of cards and five sets of coordinating digital stamps! I'm really pleased with how these designs turned out and I hope you like them too :) Here they are:
Shop Journaling Cards
This set focuses on the theme of shopping, whether it be the everyday activity of buying groceries, treating yourself to flowers, or indulging in a bit of retail therapy. I had fun incorporating some of my hand lettering and illustrations in this set and mixing them up with my usual clean and graphic designs. The green 'good stuff' card is inspired by clothing hang tags!

Potterhead Journaling Cards
At the end of June, fans around the world celebrated the 20th anniversary of the release of the first Harry Potter book. It's crazy to think how long it's been, and I'm so thankful to have grown up with this series. This set was inspired by the magic of these novels, and I plan on using them to document all the HP related things I got to do in London last year and a past visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios LA!

Sweet Treats Journaling Cards
I've got a major sweet tooth and I wanted to design a set focusing specifically on dessert and all things sweet. I opted for a more pastel color scheme for these cards and I think they're perfect for documenting those ice cream adventures during the summertime ;)

My Tribe Journaling Cards
This set of cards focuses on those special relationships in your lives, whether they be childhood friendships, your girl gang, or simply your favorite people to hang out with. I decided to keep these cards modern, simple and graphic and I chose a bright and fun color scheme to go along with the designs. Hope you like them!

Japan Journaling Cards No.3
I know Japan is a theme I've focused on before, but I wanted to design a new set of destination cards for this place. Part of the reason is because my style has changed/evolved since last year (when I designed the first Japan sets), but also because I'm always in need of new cards for my frequent trips to my favorite place in the world. I had a lot of fun making this set since I got to play around with handlettering, illustrations, and clean + graphic designs. I also thought that the 'adventures in Japan' circle card would be cool when used on its own or by punching out the circle with a 2" circle punch to create a little embellishment. Hope to do that soon for my own travel albums!
Japan Digital Stamps No.2
This wraps up my first update for July! Just a few reminders - there are more products that have been moved over to the Last Chance category of the store; these will be retired at the end of August. Also, the best place to get inspiration on using the In a Creative Bubble products would be over on instagram. I try to update as frequently as possible and I also reblog projects that are tagged with the #inacreativebubble hashtag! Please do tag me if you are using my designs; I always love seeing how they are incorporated on your own projects.
Thanks for reading! Happy weekend. xo.
